Props, Marks and Puppets

Can’t find an unusual, random prop for a show? Searching for a specific mask, or puppet? Get in touch!

Working for the Lantern Arts Centre in South West London, putting on two shows a year since 1995, I have been asked to create many random props. When we started a theatre company and children’s theatre clubs the props and masks required just grew! I have made a full size pig for a butcher, a dragon’s head for the prow of a boat, Aslan’s mane, a magical rock, a life size Punch and Judy and so much more! I love the challenge and I’m very creative. As the Arts Centre is a charity I have learnt to create these props using material from the local Scrap Scheme which is both good for the environment and saves money! The props won’t last forever and they may not be studio standard but they will be just what you need and they won’t cost you a fortune! Go on: give me a challenge!

I have created a variety of plaster masks for different shows. I have supplied Narnians with animal masks, peopled the Mystery Plays with character masks, created stylistic masks for the inhabitants of Vanity Fair, a shark’s head for a teenager and so many other random masks that I can’t list them all here! Just tell me what you’d like or show me a drawing and I’ll have a go
